I am a retired university professor and administrator. I was very active most of my life with sports and outdoors activities. But after retiring, my activity level declined for a number of reasons. I joined CrossFit in June 2017 to regain my physical energy and to get back in shape. I attend CrossFit three times a week and it is now an important part of my life. I appreciate the careful and supportive coaching and the group support. My level of performance is still very low compared to the other participants, but they are encouraging.
