My Name is Yasminda. I joined a Crossfit gym January 2016 looking to lose weight. I have never been athletic or very strong and have been considered obese for over a decade, so the idea of doing Crossfit was extremely intimidating. What I actually found was an inviting community of a wide variety of people all at different fitness level who were more than willing to push themselves and motivate others to push. I love my gym, my coaches, my community as well as the struggle, the backtracks, the progress and those occasional brief moments when you feel like your unstoppable. Crossfit has truly changed my life physically and mentally!
