My name is Colleen and I am a proud Nana of 2 beautiful grandies. Im very new to Crossfit only joined December 2016. Ive always been very hesitant to take part in Crossfit, fearing that I could never do this amazing sport. Fearing that I would do myself a terrible injury! Esp at my age! Ive been involved with a wide range of sporting activities and have met some amazing people along the way. How and why did I join Crossfit? To be very honest, my PT was away for 10 weeks, training to be an Officer. He suggested, that while he was away, I should look at giving Crossfit a go! Very hesitant and scared, I found myself sitting in and watching a crossfit class at my gym. It was insane! There is no way I could do this! Worst scenario, I would die, best scenario Im gonna definitely injure myself! 2 days later, I did my first CF class! Thank God, I was wrong on both scenarios! 7 weeks later I am still picking myself off the floor after each CF class! Each WOD is challenging! Who wouldve foreseen that a Nana like me, would be doing walking handstands and HSPUs! I love it! NOT!!! CrossFit Kirrawee has the best coaches/trainers and the culture they have created is awesome! I am offically part of the Karp Family! Thanks to everyone at Crossfit Kirrawee! My CF journey begins......
