I started Crossfit mid-January 2015 right before The Open started and during The Open I developed lifelong friendships and experienced the amazing community crossfit has to offer. September 2016 during a routine physical I was diagnosed with diabetes. My Doctor and my family were shocked because I appeared to be in the best shape of my life. I stopped working out all together and have been struggling this past month trying to find balance with health and workouts. The 2017 Open will be my first time doing "crossfit" movements in over 4 months. I am excited to be back at it and I'm confident my fitfam will be there to encourage me along the way!!!
