I've been doing Crossfit for about five years basically trained myself using the main Crossfit site. Lots of videos and researching the CF journal and several Crossfit Affiliate sites. I train pretty much 5-6 days a week. I train at Crossfit North Fulton and love it! I would say I eat 80% Paleo. Since I'm of the Master crowd I also listen to my body closely and rest as needed! I consider myself fairly athletic and have been weight training since college and also been cycling for about 8 years now. I played a variety of sports growing up and have always worked out since college back when leotards and tights were cool! I thank my younger sister who introduced me to Crossfit when she and her husband came to my gym and did a Tabata, I thought they were nuts!!! Here I am five years later! I am a full time working mom with two amazing daughters (one a softball player the other a dancer) and a wonderful husband who is my biggest supporter and who I met in a gym 25 years ago! There is no other training regimen for me, every day I feel completely blessed to have my health and the motivation and will to always finish strong!
