Paul Rivera

I started CrossFit 12 years ago at Rock City CrossFit in Maumelle Arkansas. I was on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine and was completely out of shape and overweight. The first year, I changed my diet and worked out 5 times per week. I lost 50lbs and my doctor took me off of my blood pressure and cholesterol medicine. He told me that 1 patient in 100 would make these type of lifestyle changes and maintain it for more than a year. Eight years later I'm still medicine free and maintaining my weight. CrossFit has changed me and my families life. I completed my CFL-2-trainer certificate and my USAW L1 certificate. My goal is to help others improve their lives through nutrition and exercise. I’ve recently moved to Indiana and have a great CrossFit home at CrossFit West Lafayette
