Five years ago I got a spinal infection. I spent a week in the hospital, three months on IV antibiotics and six months on heavy duty pain medication. I couldn't walk for six months, couldn't even hold my torso upright. Now my spine is fused together at T11 and 12, I'm stronger than I was before and every workout is a victory.
