I'm a Retired Firefighter from Contra Costa County Fire Dist. I've been doing crossfit regularly since March 2011. I'm in the best shape of my life and the doctor states I'm healthier than most 30 year olds that he sees. The open keeps me working harder to improve on my strength, conditioning, and skills so I can measure it against others in my age group which is difficult at our box since I'm decades older than everyone else there.
