In 2009 a friend of mine wanted me to try Crossfit with him at work, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I was put through my first ever Crossfit workout and felt good. About an hour later, my body went into shock and I throw up. So I had to go home, came back to work the next day with gear and wanted to try again. I did it again, and guess what?? Threw up again...I decided to take a break and try again a few days later, after which I was hooked. I was only able to do it for a month before I was sent away and couldn't do it again. About 2 years or so later I was convinced to join a local box and went into it with a bit of hesitation, but tried anyway. BOOM hooked yet again! Did it for about a year and a half and enjoyed everyday of it, until I was confronted with a non Crossfit related injury which took me out for about 4 or so months. I lost a lot of weight, strength and energy during this time, my body was just done. I counted the days before I could return to the Sport. Fast forward to October 1st 2012, new box, new body, new beginning. I've become a lot faster and stronger than I ever was and keep getting better everyday.
