I am a Navajo woman that has lost 30 pounds on her own last year and was encouraged by God to continue on a healthy path. I had hit a plateau. Prayed and prayed about what to do next and the answer was always the same. "Don't stop, do more." that was as specific as the message got. One day frustrated and at my wits end with getting the same message I asked my husband to pray with me. Pray when I attend Radiant Conference 2016 that I will find the answer. Whatever that is. Standing in line waiting to meet one of the speakers, Lisa Bevere I hear this loud voice coming from the sideline yelling "Felicia, Felicia!" and I turn and see this fit blonde Goddess that I can barely look at because I'm in awe of how fit and stunning she is. How did that voice from that tiny body? I met the speaker and was literally stopped in my tracks. I could not take another step and I heard softly " talk to her." I said, "umm...no" again "talk to her" this time with more force. Since I wasn't going to be able to take another step until I did. In the frailest voice possible, "Ummm...Hi. I apologize for interrupting but by chance are you a trainer? Do you have a business card?" She replied, "I should, but I don't. Why don't you enter your phone number into my phone and we can chat. I did just that. Without even thinking I word vomited that I had prayed for her. I had prayed God will place her into my life. That he would give me the answer to my fitness goals. I had no idea what she did or what was ahead. Turned out I gave her the wrong phone number. I contacted our Pastor Lori Champion and asked what her name was since she had previously hugged Adrien the day before. She gave the name Adrien Adams. My angel is Adrien Adams of Crossfit Round Rock. We met and I had a list of questions for her. She asked me if I was nervous. I said not at all. This is where God wants me. I am in his hands and I go where he leads. He led me to her. I said, "Ya know what? I think you are stuck with me? Adrien said, "No! You are stuck with me." We are Sisters in Christ. Swole Sisters ever since. Weight loss for 2016 60 pounds. Why do I compete? I compete because I was told this is where I belong. #blessed #CrossFitFam
