I started CrossFit to get back into good shape and to push myself to see the potential. I surprised myself as I have progressed in this journey. My strengths are definitely in bodyweight exercises and gymnastics elements more so than pure strength and heavy lifting. I'm much happier doing a set of 12 L-Pull-ups than 12 heavy thrusters!
