How to watch the live announcements of the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games Open. 

CrossFit athletes everywhere are getting ready to enjoy a time-honored CrossFit tradition: the live announcements of the CrossFit Open tests. 

Each week on Thursday, tune in to find out the test for the week. After the tests are announced, top athletes in the Sport of Fitness will be the first to throw down in the athlete matchups. 

Get ready to kick off the season with the live announcements of the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games Open. Check out the locations, how to watch, and the athlete matchups for each week below.

Week 3: Live Announcement of 23.3

To close out the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games Open, the announcement of Open Test 23.3 will come to you live from CrossFit Omaha in Nebraska, presented by RP Strength

Immediately after the announcement of 23.3, don’t miss out on the last matchup of 2023, as second-Fittest Woman on Earth Mal O’Brien will face four-time Games athlete Danielle Brandon.

Second-Fittest Woman on Earth Mal O’Brien will face four-time Games athlete Danielle Brandon in 23.3. 

Week 2: Live Announcement of 23.2

The second workout of the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games Open will be broadcast live from CrossFit Bison in Midland Park, New Jersey, on Thursday, Feb. 23, presented by Chipotle.

Immediately after 23.2 is revealed, two notable Games athletes will be some of the first athletes to complete the test.

Second-Fittest Man on Earth Roman Khrennikov will face eight-time Games athlete Pat Vellner.

Week 1: Live Announcement of 23.1

To kick off the start of the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games season, the CrossFit community will gather in Madrid, Spain, on Feb. 16, for the live announcement of Open Test 23.1.

Immediately after the first test is revealed, four of the world’s top athletes — Laura Horvath, Gabriela Migala, Lazar Đukić, and Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson — will compete head-to-head in an epic matchup not to be missed, along with a community heat of athletes from Full CrossFit, CrossFit Wezone PAC, and CrossFit Coraje.  

Event Details 

The live announcement of 23.1 will take place at the Caja Mágica Stadium 3 on Feb. 16. The main show will start at 21:00 CET (Noon PT, 3 p.m. ET,  8 p.m. GMT, 7 a.m. AEDT).

A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase for the general public on Friday, Jan. 27, at 7 a.m. PT (10 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. GMT). The upper deck (general seating) seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Just like in previous years, you can watch the live announcement of Open Test 23.1 on the CrossFit Games website or on the Official CrossFit Games app on Thursday, Feb. 16.

23.1 Live Announcement

 

On the women’s side, five-time Games athlete and 2022’s third-fittest woman on Earth, Laura Horvath, will face five-time Games athlete and Poland’s 2022 National Champion, Gabriela Migala.

On the men’s side, two-time Games athlete from Serbia, Lazar Đukić, will go head-to-head with nine-time Games athlete from Iceland, Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson.
