Houston, We Have Liftoff

November 6, 2015

CrossFit

The AMRAP has been released.

CrossFit's first online weightlifting competition, the 2015 CrossFit Liftoff, powered by Rogue, has begun.

Over the next 96 hours, athletes will find their 1-rep-max snatch and 1-rep-max clean and jerk, and will see how many repetitions they can accumulate in the 12-minute AMRAP. The code word, naturally, is Houston; state it at the start of all video submissions.

Scores are due before 5 p.m. PT on Monday, Nov. 9.; submit them through the submit scores link on Games.CrossFit.com/Liftoff.

The two workout options below, Rx'd or Scaled, apply to all three divisions (Open, Teenage, and Masters).

Rx'd

Complete as many rounds as possible in 12 minutes of:
3 snatches
6 clean and jerks
9 chest-to-bar pull-ups
54 double-unders
M 135 lb., F 105 lb.

Scaled

Complete as many rounds as possible in 12 minutes of:
3 snatches
6 clean and jerks
9 pull-ups
54 single-unders
M 95 lb., F 65 lb.

One rep as Rx’d will rank higher than the best scaled performance.

Reminders

  • You must weigh in a total of three times. Weigh in immediately before or after each event (snatch, clean and jerk and AMRAP). Your heaviest weigh-in will determine your weight class.

  • Video evidence is required in order to claim prizes.

  • This isn't the complete information. Read the movement standards and watch the explanatory videos on the Event Descriptions page before you get started.

  • Got more questions? The answers can be found in the Rulebook or by asking the support team at liftoffsupport@crossfit.com

It’s not too late to join the Liftoff. Registration will remain open throughout the weekend.

Updated Friday, Nov. 6.: Added the link to score submissions, and clarified that the two workout options (Rx'd or Scaled) apply to all three divisions.
