GOWOD has been named the “Official Mobility Partner” of the NOBULL CrossFit Games. As part of the two-year agreement, CrossFit will provide support and promotion for the GOWOD mobility app to help athletes, coaches, and affiliates use the app to develop personalized plans to improve their mobility.
“GOWOD was born as an idea among three friends, in a CrossFit affiliate less than four years ago, and it has quickly grown into the world’s leading personalized mobility app,” said Thibaud Saline, CEO of GOWOD. “Given our deep connection with the CrossFit community, we are thrilled at the opportunity to take our efforts to the next level through this partnership.”
The GOWOD mobility app allows people to test and improve their mobility based on each person’s individual needs. Created by sports and health professionals, the GOWOD app is already used by more than 870,000 individuals. GOWOD is the only program designed to improve a person’s mobility by taking account of level and mobility weakness, needs and specific goals, workouts movements, and available time.
“GOWOD was developed to meet the specific needs of each CrossFit athlete, and we are delighted to welcome them as our Official Mobility Partner,” said Justin Bergh, CrossFit GM of Sport. “We look forward to sharing GOWOD’s valuable mobility tools with members of the CrossFit community.”
Top athletes using GOWOD include current Fittest Man on Earth Justin Medeiros, five-time Games champion Mat Fraser, two-time Games champion Katrin Davidsdottir, Brooke Wells, Jamie Simmonds, Amanda Barnhart, Jayson Hopper, Jeffrey Adler, and Josh Bridges, as well as more than 100 other Games athletes.
“I’m so happy to see GOWOD is now at the top of this sport,” said 2021 CrossFit Games champion Justin Medeiros. “I’ve been using their app since July 2018, way before they contacted me to work together, and they are constantly trying to improve their program. They are so passionate about what they do every day, it’s crazy.”
GOWOD will be the presenting sponsor of a CrossFit Open Announcement, as well as teams, individuals, and age group coverage at the CrossFit Games Quarterfinals. CrossFit and GOWOD will also work to develop a discounted offering for the CrossFit Affiliate Partner Network (APN) and pursue other custom content opportunities.
As part of GOWOD’s commitment to the CrossFit community:
