Two stages of competition down, two to go before the Fittest on Earth are crowned. Taking place over four consecutive weekends in May and June, the 2022 CrossFit Semifinals will serve as the final stage of qualification for athletes hoping to compete at the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games.
For the first time, the 10 Semifinals for individual and team competitors will take place live and in person. CrossFit has partnered with a series of event organizers from around the world to host the 2022 CrossFit Semifinals, where athletes will go head-to-head in hopes of securing a ticket to Madison.
Every live Semifinal will welcome spectators to help cheer on the athletes. And all 10 in-person CrossFit Semifinal events will be streamed online for fans to watch, seven via Games.CrossFit.com and in the CrossFit Games app, and three on their own online channels. CrossFit Fittest in Cape Town, CrossFit Copa Sur, and Far East Throwdown will be doing their own live streams of competition, which will be produced by the event organizers and available on the sites for those events.
Also for the first time this year, age-group and adaptive athletes will have the opportunity to compete in the virtual Age-Group and Adaptive Semifinals, from which the top age-group athletes and select adaptive divisions will continue on to the finals in Madison. The Last-Chance Qualifier
The 2022 Last-Chance Qualifier will take place June 29 - July 1 and offer select athletes from the individual division a final opportunity to prove they have what it takes to compete at the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games. Athletes who narrowly miss a qualifying spot at one of the 10 worldwide Semifinals will be invited to compete in the virtual Last-Chance Qualifier.
