April 11, 2012

CrossFit

Last year's CrossFit Games won a "Best in Sports" title from ESPN for being the best way to spend 50 bucks. Tickets are once again being offered for $50 through the end of April.

Tickets for the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games go on sale at 10 a.m., Pacific, this Tuesday, April 17th.

Once again, the Games are at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., from July 13-15. Tickets will have to be purchased through AXS.com. We will release the exact website link at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The 17 Regionals begin in just two short weeks. Right now there are 754 men, 579 women and 430 teams still in contention for the scant 43 spots each at the Games. The competition to get to the Games this year is going to be fierce, but there is nothing compared to the actual CrossFit Games. Three days of grueling competition for the title Fittest on Earth and $250,000.

From now until the end of April, tickets are $50 for the entire three-day weekend. In May, the price increases to $60, and then from June on, the price will be $75. If there are remaining tickets available, single day passes will be available after July 1st, only at the Home Depot Center box office, for $40 each.
