Attend CrossFit's Health Conference before the Games. 

Interested in expanding your knowledge of lifestyle-related illnesses such as diabetes and other chronic diseases, and hearing from medical visionaries challenging common misinformation regarding health and nutrition? Then be sure to attend CrossFit's 2017 Health Conference.

This year’s conference will be held Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin, and your ticket to the CrossFit Games will get you in. (Festival or Festival+Coliseum Tickets will suffice.)

The conference will feature an introduction from CrossFit Founder Greg Glassman, and lectures by legendary sport scientist, Professor Tim Noakes, orthopaedic surgeon and founder of the Diabetes & Health Research Centre, Dr. Gary Fettke, and Dr. Jeff Glassman, CrossFit Chief Scientist.

Key Objectives of the Conference

  • Educate members of the CrossFit community, the medical fraternity, policy makers, regulators, and other interested parties on the many and varied alternatives available when addressing chronic disease and health issues through lifestyle changes including exercise and nutrition

  • Present evidence-based solutions

  • Provide a platform for continued education and disseminate the information to the general public to promote a greater understanding of the benefits of improved lifestyle habits

  • Inspire our audience to challenge beliefs and conventional wisdom

1:30 p.m. - Registration

2 p.m. - Opening of the conference - Greg Glassman, CrossFit Founder

2:15 p.m. - The Crisis in Science - Dr. Jeff Glassman

3 p.m. - The Central Role of Nutrition in Our Health, Education, Economics, Politics, Environment, and Beliefs - Dr. Gary Fettke*

4 p.m. -  Character, Self-belief, and the Search for Perfection: Psychology, Human Performance, and Diet - Prof. Tim Noakes*

5 p.m. - Reception
