A breakdown of each lift attempt by every athlete.

The third event in this year's CrossFit Games Finals was the CrossFit Total, arguably CrossFit's most superior test of strength. The CrossFit Total is the sum of an athlete's 1-rep-max back squat, 1-rep-max shoulder press, and 1-rep-max deadlift.

Each athlete was allotted three attempts at each of the three lifts, with three minutes between efforts.

Jeffrey Adler earned his first event win. Though he didn't squat or press the heaviest weights of the day (470 lb. and 207 lb., respectively), his 567-lb. deadlift provided a pretty good anchor, tying him to victory with a total of 1,244 lb.

And though that number's impressive, it still would have come in fourth place behind Royce Dunne, Patrick Vellner, and Lukas Esslinger in 2018.

On the women's side, on the other hand, Tia-Clair Toomey bested her own first-place performance from 2018. She lifted 875 lb. two years ago and 890 lb. today.

See below for a complete breakdown of today's heaviest successful lifts.
