Introducing the 2024 CrossFit Games Daily Digests
The 2024 CrossFit Games are the ultimate proving grounds for the Fittest on Earth and are world-renowned as the definitive test of fitness. Across four days, 79 individual athletes and 30 teams will take on intense competition and will be whittled down to the fittest few, worthy of the championship title.
The 2024 CrossFit Games Daily Digests will keep you up to date with all the action and important information throughout the competition. Each night, we will release a Daily Digest to show the current leaders, highlight a few of the best moments from the day, and prepare you for the next day of competition.

Storylines to Follow on Day 1
Superb Swimmers
Individual athletes will be starting out the 2024 CrossFit Games at Marine Creek Lake during Lake Day.
Here are a few athletes to watch during Event 1.
Tia-Clair Toomey
Since her debut in 2015, Tia-Clair Toomey has won six of the eight swim events at the CrossFit Games and placed fourth in the other two. Toomey nearly swept every event at the 2024 North America East Semifinal and will be hungry for more.
Grace Walton
2024 Games rookie Grace Walton is no stranger to swimming. She used to be a competitive pool and open-water swimmer before CrossFit. Walton earned her first ticket to the Games after winning the Oceania Semifinal.

Brent Fikowski
Canadian Brent Fikowski was a competitive club swimmer from the age of 6 until 18 and is the provincial record holder for the 100-meter breastroke. After missing out on the 2023 podium by just 20 points, Fikowski will be chasing down the podium this week.

Bruno Marins
Another Games rookie, Bruno Marins has experience with competitive water sports and has a track record for succeeding in run/swim CrossFit events. During the 2022 Copa Sur Semifinal, athletes were tested in duathlon, a 2-km run, 500-meter swim, followed by another 2-km run — Marins took second place in the event.
