Drug Test Update — 2024 Masters CrossFit Games

The following athletes have received sanctions after being found in violation of the CrossFit Drug Testing Policy:

Shawn Ramirez — the third-place finisher in the Men’s 50-54 division — submitted a sample at the 2024 Masters CrossFit Games that contained dihydroxy-LGD-4033, a metabolite of LGD-4033. Ramirez’s appeal was denied, and he has received a lifetime sanction starting Sept. 1, 2024.

Cristiano Damasceno — the fourth-place finisher in the Men’s 45-49 division — submitted a sample at the 2024 Masters CrossFit Games that contained 3α-hydroxy-2α-methyl-5α-androstan-17-one, a metabolite of drostanolone, 19-norandrosterone, a metabolite of nandrolone, and exogenous steroids. Damasceno did not appeal and has received a four-year sanction starting Sept. 1, 2024.
