Drug Test Update — 2024 CrossFit Semifinals

The following athlete provided samples containing banned substances at the 2024 CrossFit Semifinals:

Carla Cornejo Plascencia — a member of CrossFit Complex Wodex, the third-place team at the North America West Semifinal — provided a sample on May 25, 2024, that contained 16a-hydroxy-1-methyl-5a-androst-1-en-3,17-dione and 3a-hydroxy-1-methylene-5a-androstan-17-one, metabolites of metenolone. Plascencia is appealing.
