Nine Athletes Complete Drug Testing Sanction Terms, Eligible for Competition

The following athletes were sanctioned for failed drug tests between June and October of 2017. Some have already completed their sanction time and are eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again. The remaining athletes will be eligible in October of this year.

Manfredi Ottavi submitted a sample to NADO Italia that contained stanozolol metabolites and drostanolone metabolites. He was sanctioned for four years and was eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on June 14, 2021.

Stella Christoforou submitted a sample at the 2017 Meridian Regional that contained clenbuterol. She was sanctioned for four years and was eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on July 20, 2021.

Andrea Barbotti submitted a sample at the 2017 Meridian Regional that contained clomiphene. He was sanctioned for four years and was eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on Aug. 8, 2021.

Paweł Leśnikowski submitted a sample at the 2017 Meridian Regional that contained clenbuterol and modafinil. He was sanctioned for four years and eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on Aug. 21, 2021.

Ludovit Czokoly submitted a sample at the 2017 Meridian Regional that contained clomiphene. He was sanctioned for four years and was eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on Aug. 23, 2021.

Gianluca Occhino submitted a sample at the 2017 Meridian Regional that contained tamoxifen. He was sanctioned for four years and was eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on Aug. 23, 2021.

Ricky Garard submitted a sample at the 2017 CrossFit Games that contained testolone and endurobol. He was sanctioned for four years and will be eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on Oct. 3, 2021.

Josée Sarda submitted a sample at the 2017 CrossFit Games that contained ostarine and testolone. She was sanctioned for four years and will be eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on Oct. 3, 2021.

Anthony "Tony" Turski submitted a sample at the 2017 CrossFit Games that contained anastrozole. He was sanctioned for four years and will be eligible to compete in CrossFit Games competitions again on Oct. 3, 2021.
