Starting today, one workout each week published on CrossFit.com will include foundations and equipment-free options to provide athletes with an idea of what to expect in the upcoming CrossFit Open.
Below the programmed workout for the day will be examples of what to expect in this year's Open competition for the scaled, equipment-free, and foundations versions of the workouts.

The CrossFit Open is a three-week online competition, which starts on March 11 with the release of Open Workout 21.1. This year’s Open is designed as a celebration of all of the people who take part, and each of their individual reasons for doing so. It will be the most accessible Open in history, allowing people to compete from their gyms, homes, or neighborhoods — with or without equipment — across divisions for all ages, abilities, and levels of experience.
