CrossFit CEO Eric Roza Previews Future of the Sport of CrossFit

CrossFit CEO Eric Roza was a recent guest on the Talking Elite Fitness Podcast, where he discussed the future of CrossFit as a sport, and gave a sneak peek into all that's in store for 2021. Among the many possibilities for the new season, Roza spoke specifically of an adaptive athletes division that will show up in the 2021 Open. 

“We are doing the work so that we are able to have separate adaptive athlete categories in the Open," Roza said. "I’m just getting educated on this. There are a lot of different categories of adaptive athletes, and so I can’t say we’re going to nail it the first time around, but we’re going to make steps in the right direction.”
