Kyle Maynard talks about training, coaching, and bypassing all excuses.
"Now my combat is against the barbell, it's against the pull-up bars, it's against the rings, and it can go and bring me to that place. And then help other people do the same thing. Ask that question, like, 'What's my potential and how can I help other people reach theirs?'" Maynard says.
Anna Tunnicliffe, an Olympic sailor, is currently sitting in third place at the end of Day 2 in the South East.
During Event 4, Tunnicliffe was just one rep shy of finishing the 100s Chipper, a feat which only one woman in the South East accomplished -- third place 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games finisher Talayna Fortunato.
Noah Ohlsen led the South East Regional until Event 5 struck. With a 40th-place finish (7:53), he dropped from 1st to 5th overall.
Entering the third and final day of competition, he knows he has a lot of ground to make up in just two events. At the start of the day, he is 8 points behind third-ranked Julian Serna.

The team did the right thing and reported the miscount to HQ, which took them out of the qualifying position. As it turns out, another team in the region declined their invite to Regionals and Peak 360 was next in line to compete. Honesty and integrity paid off for this team.
