10 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Event, vendor and sponsor set-up and registration.

6 - 6:30 p.m. - Staff and sponsor appreciation dinner.

Friday, June 7: First Day of the 2013 Mid Atlantic Regional

Spectators

8 a.m. - General admission. Ticketing and venue open. 

8:45 - 8:55 a.m. - National Anthem and Opening Ceremony

9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Event 1 (Team, Women, Men)

Directions & Parking

Prince George Learning and Sports Complex 8001 Sheriff Road Landover, MD 20785

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

The Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex is located adjacent to FedEx field in Landover, Maryland.

From I-95
1. Take exit 17B (202 North towards Bladensburg). 
2. Left onto Brightseat Road.
3. Right onto Sheriff Road. 

4. Left at the first light (Harvey Drive).
5. Drive up the hill onto the grounds of the complex.

PARKING

There is no parking available at the Prince George Sports and Learning Complex. Instead, please go to the "Satellite Parking" at the FedEx Stadium (Lot D), which is only 300 yards away from the venue. This site offers 500 parking spaces. 

From I-95
1. Take exit 17B (202 North towards Bladensburg).
2. Immediately get in left hand lane and make a left onto Brightseat Road. Continue though first light. 
3. Once through the light, make an immediate right into Lot D3 & D4.

Venue Information

The Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex is located on 80 acres of land adjacent to the Redskins' FedEx Field. This exciting complex integrates a learning theme with a state-of-the-art athletic training and competition venue for area athletes, and caters to the recreational needs of area residents.

Field House

The Field House is the crown jewel of the track community. It has exceptional versatility. The Field House is the premier indoor flat track in the region. It has a fast 200 meter, 6-lane oval that seats nearly 3,000 spectators an unobstructed vie of the entire venue

Highlighting the Field House at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex is the 200-meter, 6-lane indoor track. One of the few indoor track and field venues in the region, the Field House boasts the highest quality space and equipment for all indoor track and field events. The open indoor area of the 75,000 square-foot Field House lends itself to non-track event

Rules and Regulations

Pets are not permitted in the field house. Please do not leave them in your vehicle. Only service/assistance dogs and seeing eye dogs are allowed in the facilities. 

Athletes and Spectators will be permitted to bring food and beverage inside the venue for their consumption during competition. However, only water is allowed on the track surface.  All other beverages must be consumed in the seating area.

Athlete and Spectator Q&A

​1. Do athletes receive a coach's pass with individual registration?  

Athletes and teams will receive one (1) complimentary pass for their coach.  Access to the athlete area will be strictly enforced.

2. Do immediate family members buy spectator tickets?  

Yes.

3. Will athletes be able to bring food in the coliseum? If not, will there be vendors with real (not processed) food?  

Yes, athletes will be allowed to bring in their event specific foods/needs. However, the food/needs must remain in the Athlete Village. No exceptions. The concessions will carry the standard food items (hot dogs, nachos, etc.), but will also have salads, deli sandwiches, whole fruit, vitamin water and sports drinks. No food or beverage other than water will be allowed on the indoor track. Food may be consumed on the provided bleacher area only.  

4. The instructions state that children 12 & under are free with a ticketed adult. Since I'm an athlete, do I need to purchase a ticket for my child?  

No, children under 12 are free regardless if the parent/guardian is an athlete or spectator.  

5. Can athletes bring an item on the competition floor (water, drink)?  

Yes, water or clear liquids only. However, athletes cannot receive anything from anyone outside the ropes once on the competition floor.  Please refer to the Rule Book for specific guidance on what an athlete can use and have on the competition floor. 

6.  Will there be water available for athletes?  

Yes, water is available to athletes only in the athlete village.  Please bring a sports bottle to fill up at your convenience. 

​7.  ​Will ice baths be available for athletes?  ​

Yes, please bring your own towels. Towels are not provided. However locker rooms are available for a small stipend per day.
