The Games are over and the results are in!

The Top Female CrossFitter for 2008 is Caity Matter of Gahanna, OH, where she trains with Rogue Fitness. Tanya Wagner took second place and Gillian Mounsey took third.

The Top Male CrossFitter for 2008 is Jason Khalipa of CrossFit Unlimited in Milpitas, CA. Josh Everett came in second, with Jeremy Thiel in third.

The Affiliate Cup was won by the team from CrossFit Oakland.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to all the volunteers, spectators, and competitors for a great weekend!

Our amazing sponsor recruitment specialist (otherwise known as the chief arm twister), Mike Pomerenning, goes through the incredible goodies that the Games winners received. We had, as you will see, tremendous support from a wide variety of cool sponsors, and hope that this little video will whet your appetites for next year's events.

I was talking with our Customer Service rep tonight, and she told me that on Sunday night, July 6th, she received an email marked URGENT! The contents of that email? "How do I register for the 2009 Games?"

So...don't wait too long before starting to train for next year....
