Addendum to the Games Burpee Standards
A point wasn't made clear in yesterday's standards video regarding full opening of the hips during the jump in the burpees. Please watch the video to understand this rules clarification.
“In implementation, this looks like sport. This is revolutionary. It's as distinctive of the program as are the movements and the charter of functionality and variance. Our workouts are competitive events.
The strength and value of CrossFit lies entirely within our dominance of other athletes. This is a truth divined through competition, not debate.”

OOps. Sorry everybody. I guess everybody will be even now.
Hey Tony,
Who is the judge that evaluates bodies?
Sevan,
I gather by your question that you hope it's you?
were his chest & thighs touching the ground? It looked like shirt & shorts made it... i couldn't tell if his body made contact with the ground.
you guys are sure making dutch do a lot of exercise for demonstration purposes in the days leading up to the competition!
I ask if those count because I was practicing by slamming my body into the ground. I would prefer to do them like dutch if it's allowed.
I was going to ask the same question that Josh Everett asked. I didn't think that the chest and thighs were touching the ground on the video.
My only comment is good luck to all the competitors and thank you to whomever put together this site. It has been a kick to watch this site over the last few months.....I will miss it after this weekend.
hey won't allisonnyc have a BIG advantage in this event?
HAHAHAHA - You're killin' me, Josh...
