The Top Female CrossFitter for 2008 is Caity Matter of Gahanna, OH, where she trains with Rogue Fitness. Tanya Wagner took second place and Gillian Mounsey took third.
The Top Male CrossFitter for 2008 is Jason Khalipa of CrossFit Unlimited in Milpitas, CA. Josh Everett came in second, with Jeremy Thiel in third.
The Affiliate Cup was won by the team from CrossFit Oakland.
Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to all the volunteers, spectators, and competitors for a great weekend!

Thanks everyone. We had a blast competing and meeting awesome people over on the West coast. The CrossFit community is incredible i don't care what anyone says or call us, "cult members", "cult leaders", cult whatever. I'm proud to be part of this "cult" as they say, LOL!!!
And to be honest, i don't know what the rest of my crew was looking for on that picture, but i was looking for everything i lost on that hill run. Which was pretty much all i had left in me! See you all next year...
Pretty well put together video. I have couple of potential CF recruits on the line and that video is helping to pull them in. It's hard for a middle-aged gal with only a little over a year at CF to pull in the buff boys (leave that alone, please..hahaha) but this video is helping lots. Thanks! And I agree with 'The Pie'... these guys from Florida look like a cool bunch of folks. I have some friends in Florida. Maybe I'll get out there and check you guys out some day....

Yeah that video was done by Biosh Productions and it only gives a little(very little) taste of what we all experienced at the Games. Any one of you that were there, can attest to this.
Besides all of the body parts and organs that may have been lost on the "Hill", we were actually looking at a mole.
Can't wait until next year. The CrossFit community is the SHIZNIT!!! and we are glad to be a part of it. If anybody has family or friends in South Florida, tell them to stop by.
