I am so excited to get out there and Get Some! During my three years of CrossFitting I haven't experienced anything as exciting and inspiring as the CrossFit community, especially last year at the Games. I just want to be there again, have fun, and give it my all.
I am as prepared as my full time gymnastics has allowed. Though I am fitter than I have ever been, I have so much room for improvement! Going to the CrossFit Northwest Championships and coming in 2nd in the 36 and younger division really fired my up for the Games. I can't wait to be there and watch all the beasts perform. I know the field is going to be different this year, but I'll still be bringing it on.
See you there!

Kallista, you are LOVELY! Good luck!
WOW... Kallista is actually the first CrossFitter that actually gets her chin over the bar when she does kipping pull ups.. KUDOS for the best pull ups in CF history.
If the judges are tough at the games, she may be the only person who actually finishes a WOD.
Good Luck Kallista!
wow, that is really impressive. although depressing that a 14 year old is stronger and faster than me.
good luck at the games!
Kallista you are awesome. Truly phenomenal. Way to make fellow gymnasts proud. Good luck at the games. Looking forward to meeting you there.
Wow! That is awesome! Kallista, I am so excited to meet you and see you in action!! Good luck and keep working that hard...you are on your way to being just like Gillian!
Beautiful technique. Sevan - Yep chin over the bar.
MOREOVER, chest to the bar on a lot of those. NICE!
Sweet thrusters to boot.
Watch out ladies!
Sevan and David - I was thinking the same thing! We could learn a lot from watching these kids! (esp. me!!!)
Awesome work!
And a great song...basement jaxx rocks..
Great swings on the kips from both athletes.
After that video denim shorts will become the new board shorts.
Kallista,
You and your brother are a true inspiration, not just for young athletes but for all of us young and old.
Best of luck at the games!!
WOW! Amazing ROM for both of those athletes. Great examples to all. I am sure they are going to bring it this year.
And that's an old video! Kallista is even better, stronger, and faster now. She's all humble and stuff, but watch out for her!
Good luck Kalli! GSGA. :-)
Kallista, was quite the sensation at the first or second CrossFit gymnastics seminar. Quite the ringer that was good to have out there to show to the attendees what gymnastics was all about!
Last I remember she was a Level 6 which means she is probably a level 7 or 8 by now. I think I saw her around at one of the meets performing well in the past few years.
I can remember hearing that her coaches were worried that she wanted to crossfit and train so much during the day.
agreed on the pullups she is getting way over the bar unlike some of the crossfitters posted in the workouts lately hopefully they can take her example...
I should have tackled her when she passed me on the run.
Kallista - look forward to seeing you and your and family there again this year.
Kallista-- is without a doubt the illest 14 year old I've ever seen.
I competed with her in the northwest crossfit championships... this girl did 50 SDLHP's at over HALF BODY WEIGHT in remarkably fast time. Not to mention quick on the run.
Sure to be big things to come from her. Carrie's right, she's super humble... more like a damn rockstar.
Best of luck at the games!
Kallista - you were awesome, we really loved watching you crush the clean and jerk at the games. Truly truly impressive, keep it up girl!
HOLY COW! Kallista! I didn't realize that was you in the video! I watched that video like last winter I believe. You've come a long way from 30lb thrusters. Love ya, girly!
