I have 4 sons and 3 grandkids. I am so lucky to have a wonderful supportive husband who Crossfits with me (and always kicks my butt) For my day job, I make Beer! What a life.....
How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
well, not too strict...I splurge once a month or so. I really prefer meat, fruit and veggies, so it works out well for me
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
My coaches are wonderful. They always challenge me with new movements and keep me trying to do things I haven't done yet.
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
So, if I can do this, anyone can do it!
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
It was my time killer while my husband coached track. Before long I was joined by 8 other Moms! After track, I joined Crossfit Eaton.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I think rest is really important. I am very strict on my rest, my body needs it.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I can't believe I have been working out this long. Now, I am afraid to stop. I would loose all my great muscles and might never get them back!
