My husband is the wheel-house of our CF adventure! He is a CFL1 coach and owner of JoCo CrossFit. He inspires me to do better each day. We have 2 beautiful and entertaining little girls that absorb our "off-time". CrossFit has improved my every day... energy, strength, endurance, mood, and joint pains/stiffness. I have lots to improve on but am enjoying the journey along the way!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
My husband and I did a Paleo challenge in November of 2012, since then we've vowed to stick to it at least 80%. Not only have we noticed an improvement in our baseline energy but also decreased recovery time in our workouts. Most importantly, for me, I've noticed a significant improvement in my joint pain, as I have rheumatoid arthritis.

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I CrossFit for many reasons but one of the most important reasons I do, is to combat the joint pain and stiffness that comes with my rheumatoid arthritis. Since becoming serious with CF, I've been able to decrease my medicine and be more functional at home and work.
