How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I consume eggs, grassfed beef, poultry, fish, and other meats, some veggies and nuts, with a little bit of fruit. Although I am strong willed, I do have a sweet tooth that will catch up with me from time to time.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
In addition to my WOD's, I do regular strength training and take a kickboxing class once a week to keep things fun and up beat. I also run and cycle when the weather is nice.

A friend had been trying to get me to "try out" crossfit for several years. After going through several life learning experiences, I decided to give it a try. At first, it was extremely hard. I almost didn't like it because I thought it completely the opposite of everything that I had ever learned or experienced. As I kept up with it twice a week for several months, it started growing on me. But after attending my first competition and seeing first hand what it was all about, I knew it was the right place for me. I couldn't imagine my life with out CrossFit in it. My son and I have developed a strong bond with our box, learning lessons that I never thought we would learn at a gym. And the best part is that we are doing it together, as a mother and son.
