Bio

President and Founder of the CGBU: Choose to Get Back UP! I was born with a growth in my spine that caused nerve damage in my left leg. I have muscle atrophy in my left calf and not much use in my left foot. The good news! I can do everything involved with CrossFit. Some things are more difficult than my able body competitors, however I compete with anyone. The CGBU is all about Adapting, Overcoming Challenges, Succeeding in them beyond what is known to be possible and most importantly Inspiring others to Believe in themselves. It is my personal mission to remove the words "I Cant" from the human vocabulary. The best way to lead is by example and I practice what I preach in all aspects of life. My personal goal with CrossFit is to become the first athlete with a "Disability" to compete with able bodied athletes at the Games. A tall task indeed but one I'm 100% committed to.
