I have been doing CrossFit myself for about since 2007, and have been coaching it since 2009. I have been an athlete my whole life - playing football, basketball and baseball in high school, and continuing to be active and do the typical weightlifting and working out in my adult life. While I absolutely love competing as an athlete myself and love the way CrossFit has improved my health and fitness in every imagineable way, my true passion lies in coaching other athletes. In addition to my CrossFit coaching background I have also coached high school football, and I truly feel this is my calling in life. I love to coach, lead, and motivate others, and because I believe CrossFit is the most amazing avenue for anyone to achieve any health or fitness goals they may have, I love to coach people through it.

How I Eat

I eat strict Paleo

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week At CrossFit Industrious when we talk about fitness that conversation absolutely includes talking about nutrition. In order to reach your maximum level of health and fitness, you need to think about what you eat just like you think about how you work out. Our bodies are powerful machines, and the food we eat directly affects how it performs in every way - athletically, and also our levels of overall energy and ability to focus. When we talk about nutrition there are no fads, tricks, gimmicks, or quick fixes. CrossFitters know that you don't get something for nothing, and when it comes to nutrition this is especially true. Instead of having a typical "diet" to follow in order to lose weight, increase muscle mass, lower cholesterol, or reach any other isolated result diets usually aim for, we simply prescribe how to eat in order to feel good, have energy, and be happy.
