I was a competitive swimmer for 11 years then spent the next 20 trying to make step aerobics a competitive sport:) I ran 6 marathons, had 2 knee surgeries then found crossfit after meeting Heather Bergeron at a globogym. I worked as a family doctor for 12 years before retiring to become a mom and a CFNE gym rat. My husband, Sean, and I have 3 kids who are devoted athletes.
