Bio

Chris has almost three years of CrossFit experience under his belt, with over a year of coaching both beginners and advanced athletes as well as judging large-scale CrossFit competitions. Growing up a in a sports-loving family, Chris was exposed to athleticism and its many facets at a very young age. Not a fan of just one sport, he was more interested in practicing and excelling at many different sports, making him a natural fit when eventually exposed to CrossFit. Chris played varsity football in high school with a very prominent team that went 8-0 on Long Island, New York. In the winters, Chris was an avid snowboarder and eventually went on to compete at the collegiate level with the State University of New York at Buffalo. Also a long-time equestrian, Chris competed in collegiate level horse shows in the Northeast Region for Long Island University. Chris was L1 CrossFit Certified in September 2012 at CrossFit Southie in Boston where he trained under CrossFit Games athlete Spencer Hendel and Again Faster Equipment owner John Gilson. In November 2012, Chris moved out to Bend, Oregon to co-manage Westside Bend CrossFit with CrossFit Games athlete Travis Dickey, who competed in the 2009 and 2010 CrossFit Games. Chris learned a great deal from Travis, who has been dedicated to CrossFit’s methodologies for over 8 years. Today, Chris is proud to be an assistant coach with CrossFit Palm Beach, and looks forward to the continued growth of the community and helping out its athletes on a regular basis. - CrossFit Level 1 Certified - CrossFit Powerlifting Certified - CrossFit Judge Certified
