How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
I eat real foods. I avoid processed foods whenever possible. I buy organic as much as possible, eat organic, pasteured meats, wild-caught fish, and grass-fed beef. I don't take powdered supplements except the occasional whey protein shake.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
I train olympic and powerlifting moves, occasionally bike and run, and swim and jump on the trampoline with my 4 kids. I train 4-6 days a week.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I took gymnastics as a kid and have always been active.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I began CrossFit in 1998 with Coach Greg Glassman and then wife Lauren. I remember when they got their first pit puppy, Athena. This was before they had their own gym and rented space in a Jiu Jitsu studio. I moved away, and told everyone who would listen about CrossFit. 12 years later I found an affiliate and started doing CrossFit workouts again. I do as many local CrossFit competitions as I can fit into my schedule, and compete at Olympic Lifting and Powerlifting competitions whenever possible.
