How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I always eat clean. About 85% Paleo.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
My work out times a re random and they are placed around my roller derby schedule.
My Athletic Background
I played professional sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I started out in kickboxing when a friend I trained with told me I had to come try out this new gym. My sports have changed (kickboxing to mixed martial arts to boxing to roller derby) over the years but now it always coexists and competes with CrossFit. I am a firm believer that CrossFit is what put me ahead at the Team Canada tryouts and why I got to represent Canada internationally in roller derby.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I train other people
Being a CrossFit addict, I have introduced it to the roller derby community and now travel around Alberta coaching CrossFit classes to other leagues.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I rest when my body says it is time to take a rest day. I am a residential framer, so my whole day, 5 times a week is like working out.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
