Bio

I started Crossfit in July 2005, at the encouragement of my BJJ instructor, to increase my endurance. The first 5 years I did the WOD's in a big box while gradually building my home gym. In february of 2011 I realized that if I wanted to be competitive in the CrossFit games I would need to have "eyes" on me to correct my form and range of motion. I joined CrossFit Verve and have enjoyed the excellent instruction provided by the Verve instructors. The 2011 CrossFit games were my introduction into CrossFit competition. Finishing tied for 9th place I learned a lot about competition. My previous atheltic experiences had been limited to intramural sports in college and recreational softball and volleyball during my years in the Navy.

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I record my workouts

I work out both at Crossfit Verve and at my home gym. I am fortunate to train under the Chan's and a host of excellent trainers at Crossfit Verve.

I started Crossfitting in July of 2005. I attended my Level 1 Cert in May of 2006. I trained on my own until February of 2011 when I began trainng at Crossfit Verve.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I train as I feel. I usually train more thn 3 days in a row. I will occasionally put a strength workout in the same day as a chipper.
