I've been training for the Olympic Weightlifting Trials since 2005 for the 2008 and 2012 Trials. I have had two shoulder surgeries and am now retired from weightlifting! I did not dedicate much of my time to being a CrossFitter since 2004, but have been back for the last 6 months after rehabbing my shoulder. I have a long way to get back to the old numbers. I can not even do a dip yet!... The road must start somewhere!

How I Eat

I weigh and measure my food

I eat whatever is convenient

When I am training I do a hybrid slow carbohydrates diet. I eat weighed and measured Paleo Monday thru Friday, anabolic diet on Saturday (so cheat day), and a 12-18 hour intermittent fasting on Sunday. If I am in the 105+kg class I eat 6,000 to 7,000 calories a day. So ether real strict or free for all dieting!

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I incorporate workouts

I record my workouts

I follow the main site and modify the wods based on our phase of training. I use a cyclical program with 3 macrocycles, 8 mesocycle, and 3 to 5 week microcycle! I use and create competitor program.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I strictly schedule my rest days

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I train ether 4 on, 1 off, 1 on, and 1 off or 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, and 1 off or 6on and 1 off it all depends on the phase.
