Bio

While I have been an athlete my whole life, I became pretty inactive during my 40's. At the age of 50 I married my wife, Jen, and became a first time father to my son, Kyle (now 10) and again to my daughter, Maggie (now 7). I started CrossFit one month before my 58th birthday, following a diagnosis of chronic pneumonia and a desire to be able to keep up with my young family. In two and a half years, CrossFit has taken me from wheezing like a bus stop after simply taking the dog for a walk, to qualifying for the CrossFit Games. I CrossFit 5 days a week at CrossFit Legacy, my health is as good as it's ever been and I can not only keep up with my kids but I also have more energy than those "younger" dads.
