How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I mostly eat Paleo, but I do like my MILK. The older you get, the stricter you must be with your diet! I really pay close attention to my carb intake. Depending how intense my work outs are and how many I'm doing in day I will increase my carbs.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
Thanks to rouge, I have put together a gym at home. Do to my busy schedule, I wanted to make sure I could get my work outs in no matter what time of day. I also attend a CrossFit Affiliate where I can push myself and learn better techniques from the coaches. I Also work out at the fire station when I'm on duty. I transport a lot of CrossFit equipment to the fire station to assure we have the essential equipment needed to complete the work outs.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I played Division 1 and division 2 football where I earned All American honors at Linebacker. I also currently compete in the Scott Fire Fighters Combat Challenge where I won a gold and silver medal at Worlds in 2012.(Over 40 division)
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
