Bio

I have been married to Jennifer since 2004 and have three children. We live in a small city west of Houston called Katy, a very football oriented place. I am a licensed massage therapist with the state of Texas with certifications in Bio- mechanics and Postural distortion. I have been an athlete most of my life and tried some body building. Crossfit has given me a new take on fitness which fits in with my work.

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

Pretty much eat healthy protiens, veggies, fruits. I eat three meals with snacks daily.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I record my workouts

I attend C4 affiliate box. I have a good relationship with coaches Aida, Kenny, and Chris. Very cool people.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I regularly play recreational sports

I have played most of the sports required as a youth and tried some off the grid like Lacrosse,Rugby, and Cricket. I snowboard and play basketball regularly. The best sport I do is chasing my kids around.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

Like most ex Jocks I was looking for something to re- ignite that competative flame. My friend Anthony suggested I attend one of his workouts. I was hooked. On my first day I was helped up by a grand mom. My overall experience of Crossfit was very positive.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week

I try 4 on 3 off schedule. I try to do medium to heavy lift on the same schedule usually after each WOD.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years

Started in April for my 48 birthday. I was 240 pounds a could not do most of the base line without stopping to breath. Today I am 205 pounds and improving every time I step into box.
