I played football throughout high school and college. I was overweight throughout all of my playing years. I eventually weighed in at 285 pounds and decided to change my life habits. I started a body building routine for years and saw great results. I was briefly introduced to Crossfit by a friend, M. Lovett, back around 2011. I did it for 2 weeks, loved it, but the idea of it being "soft" compared to bodybuilding led me away fast. In 2013 some local LEO's opened up a Crossfit gym and introduced me to the competitive side of it. I was then starting to sprinkle Crossfit into my regular fitness routine. After surprisingly making regionals in 2014 I decided to only use Crossfit as my method of staying fit and healthy.
