How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I generally follow paleo (80%), but I still take protein shakes, cytocarb, good sugars and try to refrain from fatty meats (bacon and ground beef). I believe paleo is a lifestyle diet, not a competitive athlete diet.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
My team and I follow OPT "Will" group exclusively.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played basketball my entire life until back surgery (lumbar laminectomy) ended my career. I picked up triathlon soon after to rehab and build my core through swimming. Then, my wife convinced me to try crossfit and I haven't looked back.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
Crossfit North Atlanta is the best affiliate in the land.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I do whatever OPT programs, which includes some doubles, triples, active rest (Z1 work), skill work, etc.
