How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat paleo majority of the time throughout the week and refrain from grains and gluten even if i tend to have a cheat meal or 2..Pretty much I eat REAL food to include fresh veggies and lean non-processed meats.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I used to do organized Army PT 5x a week with CrossFit 3-4x a week..since March 2011 upon relocating to San Antonio, TX and joining RCC I made CrossFit the majority of my work out routine which lead to and is continuing to lead to incredible results.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I have been in the US Army for 7 years and have participated in Army Physical Training since the beginning I have been active in CrossFit since May 2010 starting at Ft Hood, TX and continued to a more advanced program with RCC when I relocated to San Antonio, TX in March, 2011. Currently, I have been merging CrossFit into organized PT and educating other service members on the physical and nutritional benefits of CrossFit and eating REAL food,
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
Changed my life, instilled more self confidence, instilled more esprit de corps not with those in the Army but also the CrossFit community, will continue on with it for the rest of my life...
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
5-6x a week on average, 1-2x a week for rest depending on work schedule
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Progress has varied since the beginning, and will continue on without giving up!
