My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I was trained by Annie S at the main, who is also my friend. Now trained mostly by Danielle E at CFSC. I realized that Crossfit would help me immensely in my career as a Firefighter, and I had wish I found it sooner. It is key for women in the fire service, especially us short ones!! Crossfit was the key to rebound back into shape after my first pregnancy. Now, I am about 5 months pregnant with my 2nd. I feel my best when I am working out.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I couple either swimming OR running with Crossfit. My family takes priority; so one week is typically different than the next as far as workouts. I don't follow a strict workout or eating regimen. I enjoy food and a lot of it. I crave healthy foods.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I have found that I benefit by varying my workouts. Intensity, type, etc. And again, my 18 month old child is my priority, so sometimes that dictates my plan for the day.
