How I Eat
I eat whatever is convenient
Try to stick as close as paleo as I can. Lack of preperation leads to "whatever is convenient". Do my best to stay away from the breads and grains.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
All workout at a CrossFit. CrossFit San Jose. Record my workout on Beyond the White Board. Nothing to scientific here. Just posting results and what ever else BtWB offers.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
Athlethic as a kid in school and high school. thought CrossFit and Judo were/are a good complement to one another and did some judo for a while. But getting thrown at 41 really hurts.
My Experience With CrossFit
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
Same story that has been repeated by others. Did the standard go to the gym and lift weights and was bored and really not into. when introduced to CrossFit and read the article in muscle and fitness, this is what I wanted to be> This was the body type I wanted. Not big and bulky, but just strong and in shape,..Fit.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I work out once a day. Maybe I will do a double, but that has not happened for a long while. I am usually 2 days on 1 day off. then due to scheduale and body feeling good I will go 4 on then 1 off. It is not set really its how I feel.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
This will be my fourth year. First workout was May 15th 2008.
