I'm a mom to 3 kids...4 if you count my husband. In December of 2010 I began my transformation through Crossfit and Paleo/Primal nutrition and I've never been happier. I was able to follow the workouts and the nutritional plan easier when I made it a total family effort. Since I do all the cooking and grocery shopping, it was an easy change. My kids all like to Crossfit with our awesome trainer Ben Green and finally, after a year, my husband has joined me for my classes too. I have personally lost 45 pounds and countless inches, I've gained strength I never imagined possible and my confidence is definitely on the rise. I hope someday I can pay forward all the support and dedication that has been shown to me by my Crossfit Grover Beach family.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
Our family is about 85-90% Paleo with the occasional raw milk/raw butter with a meal. I also make roasted yams/sweet potatoes before rugby games or tournaments for the energy.

I regularly play recreational sports
I have played various sports throughout my life, including, volleyball, soccer, softball, swimming and horseback riding, but I have settled into my favourite of all....rugby. I play 2nd row and I'm working towards 8 or flanker.
